An Open Invite

Niketas looks at the paired Ventrue, eyes regaining focus. He sets his cup down without finishing it.

"Oh well, in for a penny, or however the idiom goes."

Left foot blue.

Walking towards the mat, Niketas makes eye contact with Aurelia and Aldrich. He winks, circling around them. Noting Aurelia's spread weight, he straddles over Aurelia, his left foot on the blue and his right drifting into yellow.

"If anyone must try to unseat me, at least it will be you," he says to the back of Aurelia's head.

He briefly considers making a joke about Elder Silver, decides against it. He also considers sitting down on Aurelia's back, and decides vehemently against that too.

Keane shifts a little in his seat without seeming to pay any mind to it so that Anton is more comfortable in his leaning. He takes on the expression he has had before that implies he is really about to go off on one story wise. Then Aurelia makes her suggestion and it has some of the impact she had intended. He nods, looking a bit distracted. Then remembers his original train of thought and nods a little more clearly.
"Yes, okay Anton, a bit shorter then. I can tell the full tale another time perhaps, maybe it won't distract from such a gathering?" this last he says to Valentina.
"The ful story is that of Pwyll and Arawn and how they came to be friends. But if you wish to know more of Arawn? Well, his great passion was for the Hunt, which he took too with a pack of hounds that were shining white with bright red ears. His wife was the most beautiful woman that had ever lived but was also wise and well versed in conversation. His court was filled with wonder and spectacle, which I have already said." Keane frowns for a moment, not sure what else to say without reverting to the story he knew. "Arawn himself was mighty and strong, as handsome as any that had ever held a throne. His clothes and garments all grey-brown for his bearing was that of winter though he held it of respect for his land." He shrugs, that is all he can think of for now.
He looks over to the game so see how it is progressing...
Maybe after the first round he thinks.

Aldrich turns to Angelina, glad he is stood on his left leg.

*Right leg blue.* fuck.

He looks at the board.

"My apologies Elder Aurelia."

He pulls up his trousers slightly to allow for better movement. Placing his right foot next to Aurelia's hand. It is clear he is favouring his left side.

"Fuck -" Aurelia ducked her head, and finally crouched lower down, no longer straightening her knees in a Yoga-esque flat pose but in a mad escape. A mumbled string of Spanish curses later, and she peered angrily up at the Ventrue's arse above her.

Fortunately - 'Left foot green! came Angelina's instruction. And Aurelia breathed a sigh of relief as she swung her body 180 degrees around to free herself from that dire predicament, stretching her hand toward Aldrich rather than being practically beneath him. It took her out from under Dukes too. Paying last homage to their relationship, she did not forcibly undercut his leg as she moved, tucking and curving around him instead, quite catlike. It's clear she's very limber.

Niketas tenses as the other kindred move, not best suited to the athletic requirements of the game.

Right foot green.

"Oh thank the dark mothers..."

He stands, feet slightly parted, quite comfortably.

"So, while we're playing, has anyone here ever flown?"

He raises his arms in a gentle 'flap flap' motion, possibly to bait the other kindred into imitating him and tumbling to the floor.

Niketas creases his eyes at Aurelia.

"Well, I asked about the flying because, if you ask the winds right, they can lift you, darndest thing, you should try it somet-"

Left hand green.

"Oh seven shades of grape-licking sea-feet! Ass!"

He leans forward, parallel to Aurelia, facing the opposite direction. Unable to keep his weight completely on his legs, he ponders which magics might aid him.

He wriggles his toes for grip, glad he is barefoot and pedicured this evening. His toe-rings really are lovely.

Seemingly in his own game for the most part he awaits his next colour.

right hand blue ...motherfucker.

He leans further onto his right leg and winces in pain before it locks into place allowing him to reach forward placing his right hand above his left.

"AHA! Not... As ... Bad ... As you thought huh?" He asks whilst wincing in pain.

Aurelia simply stretched her right hand out when asked to place it on red, her breast brushing Dukes' hand slightly. She seems determined to play this game while low to the mat, having the body to do so, and make other people only able to poorly balance above her in the upcoming rounds.
