An Evening In

"Not in any way," Grace smiles
"I find it a way to occupy my hands, it's like a reflect or dear Miss Audley's sewing, it helps my concentration and the breeze is quite relaxing"
"Perhaps a bad habit, I am sure you understand,"

[Lady Grace]

Grace smiles,
"Oh yes I have every intention of participating,"
She subconsciously touches her necklace with a smile.

"I think it will be a evening to be remembered. I couldn't possibly miss out."

[Manacledairman]

Aldrich claps his hands together.

"Excellent, it will be a spectacle at the very least I'm sure."

[Lady Grace]

Grace takes a moment to look at Aldrich,
"We have so few occasions on which we can choose to sparkle. I don't intend to waste mine."

"Especially when so much may change because of it,"
Grace smiles to herself.

[Valentina Audley]

As they've talked, Valentina has been working diligently at her sketch, occasionally pausing to hold it at arms length and eye it critically. When she's done she holds it out to Aldrich, seemingly unaware of anything that's happened whilst she's been busy.

"Does this look accurate enough Elder?" As she asks, she's rummaging through the tie box for a black tie.

She giggles gleefully and taking the tie and a chalk she's apparently dredged up from down the side of the sofa she starts to sketch the pattern onto the tie in swift sure movements, slightly losing herself to the work, though, a little more aware of the others watching she smiles vaguely in their direction from time to time.

This is a quicker job though and in less time she's wordlessly holding out the tie for Aldrich's inspection, the pattern chalked on it.

"If this suits I can start stitching right now. If you'd like?" She smiles at him.

Grace continues to sit and watch Valentina work.
Such deft movement, confidence.

Grace spots numerous sketch pads within arms reach and wonders if it rude to pick one up to view the sketches within, probably.

She glances to Aldrich, more confidence. It's like he wears any room he occupies. Is he just having fun at his own game. Possibly.

Whilst Aldrich and Valentina are occupied with the creative process there is time for a moment of drifting into consideration of warmth of delicate and complex feelings of previous nights and the consideration of Amethyst eyes.
