A new start for the Neonate Council

"Yes, Kira. Please delight us quickly with this information. So that we can move on to why we are actually here."

Saints preserve us. She never wanted to listen to Jack when he cautioned her on renewing the Neonate Council. He had a skewed perception of Neonates being an elder himself, he had forgotten what it was like. But perhaps he was right after all? Maybe was she the only Neonate with any sense. Taking a moment to steady herself and regain her resolve, she inquired again.

"So are there any more ideas regarding how we create more harmony between Neonates and Elders?"

"Mmm?" she rolls a shoulder back leisurely as she turns her gaze to Christine, a teasing look of delight on her lips, "Oh but I do love how curiosity spreads my dear, its a delicious inflection and quite complimentary to you," she beams, then leans forward a little as if breathing a hint of a secret, "besides...- I have quite the admiration for that delicious anticipation that comes with dramatic build ups," she giggles coyly, and running her gloved hands over each other idly she switches focus with a sigh.

"Don't fret Mrs.Saunders, I doubt this would take long-as I mentioned before there are scarce few of us precious petals in Baths Court...besides, I'm sure speaking of such silky subjects will allow time for fresh ideas of harmony to simmer...after all, as much as we love muses, we often are a muse to others!"

She turns her attention back to all, "Perhaps I shall tell you-allow a salacious secret to run wild! But first go on, I am intrigued, go through this list of us roses and the reasons and process of eliminating each til you reach that luscious prize!" she claps her hands together in excitable flurry.

"I deduce it to be Kira" Constance says flatly. The returns to reading her book.

She nods at Constance, "Thank you Constance, and I deduce the game to be over."

She looks around the room for someone who appears to have keep some sembelance of dignity so far this evening. Her eyes alight on Lady Annabelle.

"Do you have any suggestions? Or any one else regarding this evening's topic of conversation?"

Regulus scratches his chin, murmuring to himself.

"Perhaps...no...hmm..."

He blinks slowly for a moment, then looks around at the manner and dress of each of the others within the room.

"What about investing time and resources to make this city even more of a shining jewl than it already is? In terms of resources I doubt we are lacking in this room. I don't see a way that could be thought of to threaten the power of the Elders. Unless I am missing something?"

His brow furrows for a moment.

"Although Mrs Jackdaw, if I might enquire. Is there great disharmony between the Elders of this city and the Neonates? I have this far had reasonably cordial discussions with my own Elders."

He looks at Katherine, eyes no longer hooded.

"Mr Grey I do not believe that Bath is any more disharmonious in that respect than any other city. However I feel that it could be worked on."

Katherine sighed internally, she decided there was no point in continuing on that path.

"It appears that we should return to that subject another evening when we all have had a chance to consider options. Is there something else people would like to discuss?"

Violet sits up slightly straighter, eyes lighting up, “Oh I have a suggestion!” she quickly twists in her seat to address Kira, smiling “What if you were to give us a hint as to who it could be? I mean it would build anticipation quite wonderfully.”

Katherine sits down and eyes go glazed.

I'll let them get this out of the system and in the meanwhile I will have a sensible discussion with Jack.

Kira bites her lip, "Well," she leans forward, elbows resting on her knees and hands crossed over each other as they swing like a metronome, "I've heard," her eyes sweep over each and every one once more, linger a breath too long on each one, "on good authority too," she holds a teasing finger up as if to reveal a great and ancient mystery, "They are..." she smacks her lips, "very, very, very-" unravelling a slow inhale, "very much entranced by our darling song birds performances," she gestures and raises her hand in a show of genuine admiration and astonishment at the mere thought, proud even to announce this common known fact, "There, now explain your thinking my sweet," she reclines back down elegantly after a few moments, half expecting the rest of the room to applaud the star in their mist, "I'm positively leaping out my seat to hear your thoughts on this earth shattering matter!"

Stepping out of the carriage, she takes his hand and allows Mr Black to escort her up the area steps. They try the door to find it locked, so they ring the bell of the beautiful house and wait quietly with her hand looped in his arm.
