The Fifth Council of Neonates

For those Northern Haunts that either remain unspecified or too specific to fit into any other category. For example, if you wish to post a one-shot on your character's activities in their Haven but don't wish to advertise the fact of it's existence in a specific district.

As Dorian Drops her hands she notices the lock of black hair fall across his face as he bows to her, in the gaslight she notices how the shadows dance across his handsome face, his eyes coal black eyes standing out in his pale face, she catches his breath and turns to the rest of the room, they are discussing runes once more. The mention of Dagaz is for concern but she assumes that it is educational as Violet appears truly intrigued by the subject.

Her eyes lock with Dorians briefly and a smile spreads across her face as he continues to look at her, she begins to answer his question.

"Thaumoturge is dangerous alone when you understand it without Dagaz." turning her attention back to the group. "The mention of it alone, as Mr Black says can be extremely dangerous, and using the rune itself during a Thaumaturgy ritual can allow you to do anything you want with that person, forcing them to do your will or even kill them, all of this with only 1 drop of their blood, I hope this helps you understand my reaction upon my entry, for I know and understand the dangers, consequences and repercussions of blood letting. It is always the advice of the Tremere to everyone be they Clan, Kindred or Kine never allow anyone to have even the smallest drop of your blood." putting a particular emphasis on the word never.

She is still talking.

How strange.

This was not how it was meant to be.

Eric twitches, his fist clenching, eyes widen. "No ye can't. By D-d-dagaz you..."

Eric twitches, his knuckles whitening, senses sharpen. "No ye can't. By D-d-dagaz you..."

Eric twitches, his fist reddening, must see the truth. "No ye can't. By D-d-dagaz you..."

Eric twitches, his nails pressing, she must see the truth. "No ye can't. By D-d-dagaz you..."

She falls to the ground confused and dizzy what is happening to me? What have they done?!

Startled, Dorian catches the Tremere as she falls. He is too well-bred to let a lady swoon to the ground - however clinically pristine it may be.

"Oh dear," he sighs. "Another one? There must be something in the air. We might as well head on in; she'll rouse eventually."

Dorian mutters something odd at the door - it's not human, certainly. Rat?

There's a strange scratching - and whirring - sound emanating from within the wall. Then: the door opens inward.

Inside is a collection of apparatus that wouldn't look out of place in an asylum or morgue. Three surgical benches line one wall; there's a table on wheels; steel lockers; scalpels.

"Everyone in. Miss Daye if you would prefer wait outside you may. Take a glance; I am aware from your history this environment may not comfort."

In the centre of the room is a dividing screen. On the side they enter in from there is arranged a series of chairs in a circle, perhaps for the later meeting. Dorian moves beyond the chairs past the divide with his charge, bridal-style, with no suggestion that his cohort shouldn't follow. Beyond the screen is a final, much heavier steel table with thick manacles attached.

"Lunaris, Taylor? If you will. Violet - the gag's over there - and Kira could you grab the blindfold? I need to set up the equipment."

He lays Eponine chivalrously down on the metal, and lets his colleagues get on with strapping her in before turning to unlock a panel in the wall.

Taylor looks to Christine

"Will you be coming in Ms Daye? I will wait out here with you if you desire?"

Gently he takes her hand and looks towards the room beyond where Eponine is being taken, his interest obviously piqued by the manacles on the slab.

The reaction to Miss Mayweather fainting is instant. Eric relaxs and he smiles.

Eric follows Dorian down into the lab and past the divide. A laughter filled the room for a few seconds more than was appropriate. "Right then," as he places her wrists and ankles within the heavy metal binds, then clamped shut.

After this is completed Eric moves to the other side of the devide and removes the obfuscated from his offhand hip, revealing a case hanging from his shoulder. Within it are a selection of bottles of interesting liquids and powders along with chalk and ink. It is with some swiftness that Eric prepares for the evenings science until he is called back.

Christine stares into the newly revealed room, her eyes wide. She clutches Taylor's hand in fear, and her humming jumps up a notch, turning into a quiet song.

"....with rings on her fingers and bells on her toes.... and a shadow above her wherever she goes... "

She looks at Taylor and nods, chewing her lower lip as she hums, and then walks with him into the room. She positions herself, standing with her back to the wall, staring at what's happening with the sick, fascinated look of someone mesmerised by a serpent.

"Go..." she murmurs to Taylor. "Do what you must... I... I will be fine..."

Kira holds back, waiting to see if the Doctor and Miss Daye too will come, eventually when that decision is made and they pass, she closes the door behind her and enters a few slower paces behind the couple.

Her eyes sweep over the room as the Council adjusts and goes about their business and with a bounce in her step Kira claims the leather material to act as a blindfold. Her fingers running over it playfully, though her eyes are very much focused despite her wringing of and pull to sharply of the blindfold as she reaches the head of the tremere. She swiftly pulls her head up to tie the blindfold on ever so securely, tightening it for extra measure. When she seems satisfied, she returns her to, and looks around at the rest of the group.

She keeps her station at the head of the table til the others are done, briefly turning her head away to grant a reassuring

He looks at Christine very intently

"If you need anything...I will be with you immediately...."

Taylor gives her hand a gentle squeeze before striding over to the table, the compassion and humanity is locked away and the cruelly logical side of Taylor's personality comes out. Swiftly he buckles the leather straps across Eponine's forehead and chest.

Looking to Violet he nods at the gag

"Put that on her...now."

The voice is hard and domineering. That of a craftsman performing his work, an expert in his field.

Violet raises an eyebrow at Eric’s sudden behaviour, but this quickly morphs into a large grin as the tremere starts to fall. She takes a second to appreciate Dorian’s reflexes before starting towards the door.

She’s aware of how inappropriate her glee is but does nothing to restrain it, all but skipping into the room behind Dorian, cheshire cat grin still firmly on her face. Let’s see what the tremere her sire approves of so much is really made of. Of course he would approve of someone so easily used, but at least that quality was falling in their favour tonight.

At Dorians words, she nods her head and provides a small curtsy before heading over to where the gag is kept. On her way past she rolls her eyes slightly at Dr Taylor’s demand. Obviously! She considers the gag for a moment as she picks it up, the thick leather strap and large metallic ball seem perfect for the job no doubt. She walks back to where the tremere is laying and opens her mouth slightly, putting the gag in place.

She lifts the girls head high enough to get the strap underneath it. But instead of simply putting her head back in place as carefully as she lifted it she slams her head back on the table. Not with enough force to do any lasting damage, but just enough to create a satisfying clang that echo’s around the room. “Ooops, must have slipped!” she murmurs, looking up, before focusing back on tying the gag into place with a satisfied smile on her face.
