Ignoring what Andross says as a jest Hermina starts her consideration.

She scans the room as if she is making a choice. Her eyes settle briefly on Aldrich... Keane... Valentina... Dukes ... giggles slightly... Aurelia... Durham says “no” and giggles again.... Andross... looks at Jerome in a heap on the floor and looks concerned as if she doesn’t remember why he is like that.... finally looks at Laurence and gives him a dismissive shake of the head. She looks up at Jean Jaques and smiles.

“Apologies my dear, I know you declared yourself to me only a short time ago. In this most bizarre of bizarre dreams... but there is only one I could ever choose.”

She looks down at the heap.

“I would take Elder Jerome Price, for he and I have loved each other for centuries and fully intend to continue to do so.”

She will gently kiss Jean-Jacques.
