Jerome smiles at Jean-Jacques as he joins, any previous sense of ire gone as they focus on the spirit. As Jean-Jacques starts to sing the children's rhyme Jerome adjusts his melody to adapt creating a harmony to support. His voice is not that of a skilled artist like Miss Daye, but a strong grasp of musical understanding goes a long way to making up the distance.
As the child drifts off and begins to recede, Jerome rises and returns to the door.
