The Culture Tour

This is the dividing line - the place where the unwashed and the upper class are forced into each others paths. The lanes and streets joining the North to the South are thronged with the citizens of the city throughout the evenings, innocent and guilty alike. Here, the rich rub shoulders with the poor; from here, the ego and true pretentiousness of the city can be seen.

Jerome chuckles, "The Tram will stop but we had planned to ride a little further Elder, but let us not be premature. If you wish a private few moments with Ms Audley then please by all means promenade and I will make time for you to rejoin us. Otherwise please don't feel the need to run away form what has been such a most pleasant and enlightening journey so far. Perhaps only a glance into what might occur at the anticipated after-party."

Tram rides were definitely something she could get used to if they all came with this level of desirable attention. Valentina made a mental note to do something nice for Aurelia later.

Keane's arm around her and shoulder to lean on made for a delightful journey and Jerome's delicate touch lent that slightly dangerous sense of adventure she enjoyed so very much.

Whilst she's enjoyed the attention of both the Elders she's been in close proximity to, she was also paying attention to Jerome's tour guide spiel and was therefore, not taken by surprise when the station hoves into view is able to move gracefully aside when Keane stands.

When Keane offers his hand her aura flushes with surprise, she'd clearly not been expecting the gesture. But it's followed by a pleased glow and she puts her hand in his with a properly demure "I should be delighted Elder."

Jerome's words make her pause, in case Keane decides not to depart from the tram after all and she waits, quietly, for him to make a choice, seemingly unfussed either way.

Keane curses inwardly at mixing up the Tram station with the Train station. Damn these Infernal devices, why did they have to get more complicated than coach houses!
He freezes for a moment looking round, vaguely hoping for a sympathetic glance from Dukes.
"uh... No, I wouldn't want to split our troupe any further." inspiration strikes, "And I wouldn't want to lose Raife again this evening! Perhaps perhaps Ancilla Audley would enjoy this ride a little longer."
He sits back down and returns his arm around Valentina, slipping Price the slightest shy glance as he does so.

Aurelia’s laugh is throaty and rich - low for a woman, and full of dark welcome.

“A beast? I have been poor to you, to gain such an epithet.” She accepts Dukes’ hip flask without missing a beat, and tips it back, the elder’s long throat bared as she swigs heartily. Clearly she agreed: it was that sort of night.

“Start as you intend to finish, neh?” She traded it back to Dukes. “Hn. That is actually quite good, thank you.”

As to the scene unfolding with the unlikely trio, Aurelia smothers a grin and relaxed, stretching out one athletic leg while shooting a slightly roguish wink at Aldrich, and casting a similar collusive gesture to Valentina. She seemed content that others were enjoying themselves.

“I’m looking forward to this after party, but Elder Price, your voice has a good lilting quality to it; such is very well for a tour. Thank you for organising this.”

When Aurelia hands back the empty flask Dukes shakes it, disappointed.
"Pity, now I have to be the sober one..."
He turns to Jerome.
"But I see a point being made, the assembled kindred here might be a touch too... buoyant... for a bardic show. As Sheriff, may I suggest we move this gathering away from kine eyes, if you deem it proper to do so?"

Valentina obligingly lets Keane pull her back down to seated and having caught his glance to Jerome, lays her head back upon his shoulder, but in a way that gives Jerome access to continue his massage of Keane's shoulders should he wish to.

The only sound she makes is a small, soft, sigh of contentment when she's settled, returning Aurelia's look with a smile.

Aldrich chuckles lightly as he watches Aurelia drain the hip flask. His countenance changes to blank stoicism as she winks at him. Replaced quickly with a sly smile on the right hand side of his mouth.

"Elder Keane, I don't believe I've formally introduced myself and considering all that has gone on over the past hour or so, I feel it necessary to do so before formalities no longer matter."

He chuckles and extends his hand toward the elder.

"Elder Aldrich Beaufort, Paragon of Clan Ventrue, Architect of the Camarilla. Of Mithras' line, same as Elder Aurelia here."

Keane winces a little at the hand offered to him but pulls himself together to accept it. Doing so whilst trying not to disturb Valentina at his side or lean away from Price's hands, he offers his free hand. His shake is a little weak, almost frail in Aldritch's robust grip.
"Keane Airellson, Elder of Clan Malkavian" His speaks with a soft lilting Welsh accent which becomes stronger with confidence as he introduces himself.
"My apologies, Elder Beaufort. Normally a Neonate of my clan would have introduced me by now but as you can see. None have been available."
He calls over his shoulder.
"Please pay attention Raife, this will be one of your duties in future."

Watching the horse drawn tram turn a corner and disappear from view, Jean-Jacques looks about at his clan mates.

“We shood be makeeng progress to rendezvous wiz ze ozzers.”

He faces lady Grace and offers his left arm, suitably coked to receive a lady’s arm for the oncoming perambulation.

“eef you grant me ze ‘o or, Lady Grass, shall vee make ze progress?”

Grace looks up from walking at Laurence' s side.
Jean Jacques catching a hip flask passed back to Ancillia Stoker and some muttered words.

She looks forward, "But of course," and moves ahead to take his arm.
"You know Sulis after all,"
A leather gloves arm settles companionably with Jean Jacque and Grave smiles.
"Do you intend to linger for this after party mentioned for later?"
