Trying to Get Home

[Uriah]

Uriah watches Grace leave and Laurence follow her before turning back to reply to Andross.
"I did not suggest such a thing. Merely that Mithras desired the cup present and 'had his way'. Any alterations are strictly conjecture and not from myself. I couldn't possibly comment."

[Andross Blint]

"My apologies, i had derived a second meaning from your words. Entirely my fault, i hope it has led no others to mistaken beliefs into the meaning of your words."

[Posh-Tim]

Keane is sat fiddling with his beads. He has reigned in his Aura now but looks at Valentina with a concern whenever Uriah is busy verbally jousting with the others. Andross seems to be doing well but he's steadily feeling the pressure to say something. Not about the cup though. For all he knows it wouldn't do to risk making any statements about it. Perhaps some court matters instead. Oh dear, it looks like Andross just slipped up, nows the time.

"I, um, haven't held a position in court like Primogen before. I hope I am able to win my clans respect as well as Lady Grace."

He looks at Jean-Jacques, sniffing at the whiskey. Better he try and be reputable for court.

"She has, done much to support the members of her clan at court."

He hopes that he sounds more confident than he is.

[Valentina Audley]

Valentina for her part hasn't moved. She's sat perfectly still more akin to a porcelain doll than person.

[Lady Grace]

From outside the room the voice of Laurence is heard shouting, "Primogen Granville."

This is followed by the distinctive voice of Grace
"WHAT?" Her tone and innovation becomes incredibly clipped and precise.
"ANCILLIA STOKER WHAT EXACTLY IS SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU FEEL THE COMPULSION TO FOLLOW ME OUTSIDE NOW TO TELL ME?"

[Uriah]

Uriah is about to respond to Keane when he hears Grace from outside.
"Ah, that is more what I had expected. No doubt it should lend to some excitement when they return.
Soon-to-be-Primogen Keane, could I perhaps suggest not following the Brujah example quite so closely. Perhaps a little more like Ancilla Audley here."
He gestures at Valentina.
"As I said before, she exemplifies all manner of courtly graces. The two of you seem well enough acquaintanced already."
The look he gives them both leaves little room for interpretation but there doesn't seem to be any anger implicit in his tone.

Unsurprised and unfazed by the noise outside

"Do pardon the noise from outside elders, it would appear Ancillae Stoker has forgotten his place and stepped out of line one to many times these last few nights.
If their discussion is disrupting your talks here, i will ask if they could move location so not to offend you."

[Uriah]

Uriah shakes his head at Andross.
"Not at all, I hadn't expected the added entertainment this evening in fact. I see that there are still some lingering emotions from my little soiree. Are any of you still feeling a residual effect?"
He looks around inviting comment.
