Valmonts studey, just before the dawn

Belonging to the famous artist, Eric Valmont, The Quintessence is an affluent art gallery situated on the southeast edge of Toreador territory. With three floors of sprawling rooms and cleanly modern furnishings, paintings adorn nearly every wall of every floor, but those on the lowest level are clearly on display for the public eye. Plaques welcome viewers to engage in each creation's historied life, and detail any piece's constructed date. On the upper floors... rumoured parties of decadent extravagance are hosted. These levels are strictly private.

Valmonts studey, just before the dawn

"Several hours later…
Francis smiled and stretched rising from.the narrow daybed and padding over to the heavy wooden shutters of Valmont's office.Gingerly he turned the handle to open them, his beast tensed prepared to flee in terror. His internal clock however remained sound in spite of the laudanum and although the sunrise had started to paint the distant east it was not yet enough to cause concern.
A faint smile creased his lips as he looked over at the disarrayed desk. papers were scattered, the inkwell overturned a creeping stain of black rolling across the otherwise perfect swathe of green leather. He sighed, he would owe his host at least a minor boon for the havoc caused however there was little doubt it had been worth it.

He wondered for a moment when the last time before that night he had been intimate with another without the hope of preferment or a need to display his dominance. Sex was such a powerful and versatile weapon in the armoury that it was easy to forget that it could hold a singular simple pleasure as well.

He paced softly back to the narrow chaise longue they had both ben nestling on and paused for a moment to admire Valantina’s exceptional ankles. He stood, lost in contemplation of the glorious curve of her leg as she rested. A wicked grin crossed his lips. There was still time before the harsh pull of day dragged them both to slumber and there was the high backed leather bound armchair in the corner they had yet to explore properly. He placed a hand on Valantina’s bare shoulder as shook gently leaning down to whisper sultry suggestions in her ear as she woke."
