"I thought perhaps three acts:" Durham says.
"Act One: Kaitlin Sanders, a young woman lusts after the young town clergyman, Reverend Joesph Doors. One signer can be the voice of the evil in her heart prompting her to destroy any other who pursues him. Her better nature at this stage not allowing her to act upon it. At the end of the act she is kidnapped by satanists, barbarians or heathens or something."
"Act Two: She is rescued from the cult, after an evil ritual strips her of her better nature by none other than the young vicar and his sister, Mayfield Doors, who rescue her. She then seeks to destroy all the other women interested in the young man"
"Act Three, years pass, the two wed. Now bored and bereft of the better angel of her nature, Kaitlin toys with those she desires. In the very village her husband preaches the word of the lord in, she builds her own cult to dark gods. She is advised by her two closest friends, both of whom are unaware of her darker nature. One dear Mayfield, the other a singer of their acquaintance. Mayfield thinking herself wise, gives terrible advice, prompting Kaitlin into even more foolish acts in acts of cruelty and heresy. Her singer friend, has no such illusions about her advice, though it is always the right answer. At the end of the act her husband learns of her Malfeasance along with Mayfield and all die tragically in a blaze. Their names forever associated in the village with imprudence, malfeasance and ignorance."
