Sheriff's Announcement May 24th

Postby Mr Ebenezer Sisyphus » Tue May 24, 2016 8:50 am

Kindred of Bath, I, as Sheriff of Bath, present an update, offer from myself and a warning from the Prince.

Issues from March.

The rise in muggings in Tremere territory and surrounding areas, which was making feeding difficult as kine were extra cautious. This issue has been resolved by the Sheriffs office, primary credit going to Deputy Twitch.

Another issue had to do with hunting occurring within the workhouses and orphanages in the south of the city. With the help of Lady Leverson, this issue has been resolved. Also, ongoing investigations will continue in the south, as reports of young and mature kine who are aware of being preyed upon in that area are being looked into.

There have been some arson attacks occurring in the city as some may have heard. These are real, and though they may just be foolish kine pranks all who dwell in the city, above ground should perhaps take extra care to protect their havens. The areas affected in the last three month were Larkhill, London road, Walcot and Widcombe in that order. If anyone has lost assets to this or knows more please let us know. Deputy Millar is credited with securing this information.

Redemption

I hereby announce an amnesty of sorts for anyone who has made a "mistake" recently. I am thinking about the "animal vigilantes" and anyone who has murdered kine and left a mess behind. If you have made a mistake like this and come forward voluntarily, you will be afforded leniency and we may then work together to seal any breach. If, however, I am forced to uncover such transgression by the expenditure of my own time and resources, I shall have to report such to His Majesty and those culpable will necessarily suffer as grievous and likely final punishment as befits a violator of the First Tradition. If anyone has information on the perpetrators of such mistakes and comes forward I will give a boon if the information proves to be solid. This means anyone wishing to come forward for themselves should do so quickly lest their mistakes be aired by an enemy or associate first.

Advice from the Prince

Finally, I spoke to the Prince about the issue of the Bath to Bristol rail line construction having been repeatedly interrupted, the Prince stated that any with influence over such areas that "fail to maintain their own interests may have their influence stripped and placed in more competent hands". I, myself, recommend a strong security force being placed on the workers, the track and their work site at all times.

Sheriff Sisyphus.
Mr Ebenezer Sisyphus
