Keeper of Elysium Notice : August 1882

A message from Keeper Sisyphus,

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Court of Aquae Sulis,
Here are a few pieces of information for all, to help with the smooth running of this upcoming Elysium.

ENTERTAINMENT (IMPORTANT NOTICE)

The night of our next gathering will soon be upon us, you will all remember that Primogen Fredrics had promised a ball this Saturday however, he has decided to renege on this commitment, which is most unfortunate.
Please take heart however, in just two months time all Accepted members of this court have been invited to attend a grand Masquerade ball in the Bristol fief, as guests of her Majesty, Prince Dyonisia.
I have lined up some entertainment for the evening despite this short notice, but if anyone wishes to offer additional entertainment or a Symbel please connect me asap.

We plan to include Neonate Lunaris' ceremony of names. If you wish to take a new name, swear yourself to someone or name a weapon, for example, please contact him regarding the particulars.


CO-HOST
As Keeper, I will be hosting the evening along with one Co-host and Defender of Elysium.
This month I will be aided by Ancillae Andross Blint of Clan Brujah.
If you need the attention of the Keeper and I am unavailable or there are late arrivals to give admittance please call upon Mr Blint.

LOCKDOWN AND NEW ARRIVALS

The area around the Elysium site will be locked down. Anyone who is not expected by myself (or accompanied by and vouchered for by an Elder, who I am expecting) will be stopped and turned away.
Therefore please ensure guests and envoys make themselves known before the gathering. I expect to know their name, status (Elder, Ancillae or Neonate) and clan or affiliation.

SECURITY
Thirty minutes after the meeting has begun, we will be locking the entry doors. Late comers will most likely be granted entry but will need to ring the bell, and wait with the ghoul doorkeeper.
As many felt the need to get some air last time, I have opened up the balcony so you can get air without unlocking the door.*

WEAPONS
Within my role as Keeper I shall be seeing a restoration to the traditional Camerilla ruling regarding weapons within Elysium.
Therefore, only officers or those who bear the status of "Defender" may be seen to be carrying weapons within Elysium, as is their privilege.
I am setting a ban on firearms, explosives and incendiaries, or any other weapon with the likelihood of damaging the Elysium site when used. This extended to all.
It would not be proper for myself or my deputies to stop and search honoured Elders of our sect, so as is traditional, all are simply on their honour.
Those in breach of this ruling will be Warned and the offending item confiscated and possibly destroyed. Those refusing to comply will be ejected from the meeting.

SEEMLY CONDUCT

Please be made forewarned that any unseemly conduct will not be tolerated. Individuals who act in a manner unbefitting Elysium will receive an official Warning and possibly be ejected from the hall. If you feel the onset of high stress or your beast or afflictions being provoked then please take a moment out to compose yourself or retire to your haven before disgracing yourself. Examples of such behaviour may include but are not limited to screaming, running about shouting "fire, fire", aggressive and threatening outbursts.
Please note, that anyone deliberately provoking others to such behaviours will migrate the penalty unto themselves.

SCHEDULE
((OOC times used here but would be IC times))

6pm - Doors open
Kindred who need to pass on urgent information or concerns to their Primogen or Officers of the Court are encouraged to use this time to do so.

6:30pm- Prince addresses court and will ask for any business to be brought forward that needs to be addressed.
Kindred sit at their clan tables.
At this time doors to the hall will be locked. (See above)

7pm - Prince and officers meeting.
All court members are encouraged to use this time to converse with their Primogen and/or hold a clan meeting in advance of the Primogen gathering.

7:45pm- Primogen Meet (if required):
Hopefully meeting 30mins - Max 45 mins

8:30pm- Primogens meeting close. If there is any unfinished business there will be the option to reconvene near the end of the night.

8:30- 9:30pm free time/ performances/games/Symbels

9:30pm - Winners of any potential Symbels and another completions announced.
Option of Primogen reconvening if matters remain unresolved.
(Obviously, this can change and these are not a restriction but this is the "planned" running, so attendees can plan their evening).

* OOC- If you want to go out of the Hall for an OOC reasons like the toilet, smoking etc please go out and in again through the other door. Thus your character will still be in the building but not in the uptime area.
