“Ladies and gentlemen of Aquae Sulis,

The officers of the Court would like to address a few issues that are a concern to us all. On the night of the last Elysia opposing forces were at work to try to place the kindred of this fief in danger.

Due to the sterling efforts of the Sheriff, Keeper and their deputies, this danger has been largely averted by keeping the site secure. You will remember that the Keeper himself was intentionally held up in an attempt to leave the gathering's attendees out in the open and vulnerable. For the defence of the Elysium Keeper and Sheriff and those deputies present are named Loyal.

We now have a fuller understanding of the enemies' operations and it seems they had intended a major skirmish upon our hallowed grounds. However, their forerunners were repelled and their inside agent stopped.

Thankfully, during the night their inside agent was exposed, due to the diligence of Prince and Sheriff and the efforts of Primogen Corvinus. We report that Mrs Kathrine Jackdaw was being unwittingly used as a spy for these outside forces and only by placing her in Torpor would this parasitic intrusion be severed. This act of mercy and necessity was completed on the Elysium grounds due to concerns about her recovery by the enemy should she be allowed to leave the site while awake. Lady Fortescue performed the deed in service of the Prince after extensive evidence was discovered and the actions approved by the Prince and Primogen council. For these efforts, Primogens Fortescue and Corvinus are named Courteous.

However, after the evening events, their agents have abducted two of our court. Neonates Lunaris and Clynthan were captured. Neonate Lunaris has already been recovered, but the elders of the court are preparing to mount an operation to rescue the other individual and gain more intelligence on this issue. The Sheriff has already called for consistent patrols in all clan territories to weed out enemy agents, so we call upon all kindred to play their part.

To ensure the ongoing security of our gatherings we will be taking the precaution of moving the Elysium site. We shall use this new Elysium and keep its location limited to those within the court and revealed only to certified guests. The security will continue to be high and of course the standard also of equal quality.
