Jerome raises an eyebrow to Dukes’s outburst. “Dearest Dukes, the elder I was referring to was Keane here” he places a hand on Keane’s shoulder again. “And as for your younger years? I had quite assumed you were a terror in your own way, it seemed a waste for such experience to go to waste here in Aquae Sulis is all. If you would rather monasticism yourself that is your choice.”

“This is turning into quite the entertaining trip, thank you *Elder* Price.”

She gives Jerome a sly wink.

“Where do we go after we disembark?”

Dukes sighs.
"I know Jerome, it just took me a moment to gather myself after-" he gestures at the room. "I don't need to be told how my heart works, my heart knows itself already."
At Aldrich's toast, Dukes smiles awkwardly and clinks vessels, once again offering the to ask to Aurelia.
"Well said elder."

Valentina for her part lays her head on Keane's shoulder, so that it is touching Jerome's hand and gives Hermina her sweetest smile.

Her expression radiates innocence and her aura is sparking with pleasure.

Hermina notes Valentina’s position and smile. So she thinks that she can make me jealous? Poor thing. Hermina gives a genuine wholehearted smile back and returns to leaning on the Architect’s shoulder.

“Your shoulder is exceptionally comfortable Architect. It is a great shame that when this tram ride is over, that it and I will have to part company.”

Aldrich looks down at herminas head on his shoulder and then across at Keane and Valentina. He smiles to himself before rolling his shoulder lightly.

"So I've been told elder zara- elder Hermina. Speaking of which where are we alighting this tram, I may need to speak with the driver once we're done."

Hermina reluctantly sits up and smooths down any stray hairs ruffled by leaning on Aldrich.

“I am unaware of where this stops. Perhaps the train station? That would make most sense to me, especially as Neonate Wainwright always talks about how important it is to the people of city.”

She looks a little put out, and goes back to looking out the window.

Given the length of the ride, Keane tries to relax and lays his head against Valentina's. It sort of awkwardly sandwiches Price's hand but Keane doesn't seem to mind.

Jerome leans into Elder Keane’s shoulder, his fingers of one hand digging deeper and easing into the relaxing massage. His other hand lifts Valentina’s head and snakes around behind her stroking the make of her neck gently before coming to rest upon her the fur of her collar, his thumb reaching to stoke her throat.

“We are approaching the train station, only built in 1840, an important addition to the development of the city. While some in our society might attempt to refuse and resist the importance of such developments it is like attempting to resist the crimsons tide of progress. Something can not be stymied, they are inevitable.”

Keane begins to enjoy the rubbing of his shoulder, the closeness of Valentina... But with the approach of the station he comes back to himself. He stands a little abruptly, nervousness returning. He turns to Price and looks like he is going to say something but doesn't, suddenly pleased with the inability to blush, he smiles shakily instead. As the Tram rolls into the station he stumbles slightly, then recovers himself and offers a hand to unsteadily to Valentina.
"Miss- Ancilla, would you like to accompany me?"
