The Culture Tour

Valentina is suddenly, quite obsessively interested in her lap, hunching over and looking down, so that none could see her expression. She makes no sound but her shaking shoulders and mirthful aura must surely betray her, despite her efforts to hide her amusement.

"I find myself unable to disagree with Elder Aurelia on that sentiment."

He chuckles loudly before pulling a hip flask from his jacket and taking a swig.

Keane sighs a little his aura flickering a little with tinges of loneliness. Then he catches himself and shoots a look at Raife before he can add something expectedly crass to the conversation.

[Madam Zaragoza]

On seeing Aldrich taking a drink, she impulsively takes out her flask too and takes a large swig.

She bends over and whispers in Aldrich’s ear, “Architect, I fear the poor sheriff has forgotten what certain parts of his vessel used to be used for. I very much doubt that he would know what to do with a woman.”

She takes another sip, reflecting on what she just said, she realises that perhaps she is a little drunk.

“Or, we could not talk about him, and any of our good colleagues, in third person, neh?” Aurelia unhooks her arm from Dukes, plucking at his jacket in amusement. Are you in there?

Aurelia exhales a loaded sigh, and finally casts her attention to Keane. “Are you quite all right over there?”

Hermina looks a little chastised by Aldrich’s words.
“My apologies”.
She looks out on to the street and watches as buildings and street urchins go by.

“People say you were active in the Byzantines, Niketas,” Aurelia says lightly to the coat with ears, in response to Hermina’s comment. She glances up at the other woman. “I would think any man still nominally alive today, who has lived through that lavish era, probably knows how to handle a woman. Perhaps it’s all an elaborate act, and he has you each hoodwinked.”

Before the tram had left Jerome lent into Lady Grace and whispers where to meet the Tram before jumping on and waving the driver on and calling to the Brujah contingent, "Enjoy your walk, I look forward to hearing what you discover on your route that you have not seen before."

He then settles in to watch the entertainment in the carriage, on responding to Dukes's comment his way. "I did warn you before Dukes, you are much more in demand than you give yourself credit for and sadly lacking in your willingness to ... experiment as any good Tremere is trained to do."

"no need elder Zaragoza, this is an evening of merriment and a fair amount of ridicule. We must always be careful however. Words have power, as I'm sure you're aware."

He smiles warmly to Hermina and rubs her interlinked arm with his spare hand.

"I find it hard to disagree with you again elder Aurelia, frustrating though it is."

He chuckles

"I have no doubt that the sheriff is as prolific as needs be. After all I remember the story you told last year Sheriff Dukes, it was beautiful. I fear it may reside within my mind for many years to come."
