Grace pauses and looks to Aldrich,
She smiles
"Yes, I agree"

Grace remembers Valentina humming.
"Are you fond of music Elder?"

Grace smiles that at last they were onto a less controversial topic which *might* lead to Aldrich saying more that a short closed sentence reply, *might*
Why is it so difficult to get Elders talking?
This was promising.

"Yes, one of the joys of returning to attending a regular Court has been a chance to sing again. It also gives something pleasant to contemplate in the little free time that I have.

I find myself walking a lot following scraps of new tunes on the breeze,"

Valentina has slowed in her sewing and whilst the casual observer might not notice, the more astute watcher can see that her aura has dimmed, her hands have slowed and she's looking down in such as way as to put her face in the shadows, hiding her expression and trembling lips.

As the topic turns away from the last court she seems to be regaining control of herself.

Grace smiles
"Although that was some time ago,"

"Yes, due to the unusual format of the next Court I am unsure whether there will be formal performance time but I also prepare a few things in case of a request.

I am told that there are various smaller rooms which affords the opportunity for a more intimate, select song choice. Things that don't lend themselves to a large room.
It's a good opportunity,"

"I don't believe the gathering in Reading is a Court as such is it?" Valentina looks up slightly unsure. "I'm working on decorations for that night."

Her aura brightens as she thinks about all the things she's managed to make already and the needle between her fingers picks up speeds again.
