Tilting his head up with the hand he's kissing she leans down and kisses him hungrily.
"I shall if you suggest retiring for the night" she murmurs huskily in between kisses. Caution be damned she decided. The shops business was so low, the girl could handle it alone tomorrow. Jacob can spare a little more of his vitae she decided to herself.

If there is a lesson that young lovers may extract from this scene, it may be this: be not over-eager to sweep another into your arms, for surely the right moment will present itself.
