[Lady Grace]

Grace looks at Aldrich in surprise.
Its a good chance to lighten the mood so she seizes it gratefully, "so your words gave made me think. If you would place myself and Valentina in a clan other than our own, which would you pick?"
Grace smiles, " we will answer the same question when you are done Elder,"

Valentina who for reasons she doesn't like to advertise is not keen on the idea of being in a different clan, is so suprised at being labelled Brujah in quality, she gapes for a moment, before laughing.

"I thank you for your kind words Elder, but I think Primogen Granville should be very pleased I am not. I do not think I should do them proud."

She smiles at them both. "So, now I am to choose for you? Hrm..."

There's a moment of quiet contemplation. "This is hard!" She mock pouts at them, going back to thinking.

Grace laughs.
"I take both of those answers as a compliment. Miss Audley you would be extremely welcome with the thinkers and philopshers but to have a ounce of your creativity, well that betrays you as Toreador through and through.

If I would place you in another clan;
Malkavian I think. This is in no way a statement on the management of your mind but that, at all times, you exhibit a great empathy and emotion. I think perhaps even when you say nothing you have a greater knowledge and understanding of a situation than those speaking.

"Now," Grace smiles mischiously, "Elder Beaufort, though I have precious little knowledge of them I would cast you as La Sombra. They are indeed the clan of Ancient Kings and nobility and I find you so easy to talk to,"

Don't say unlike other Ventrue, don't say it Grace.

"The ease at which you are in social situations means undoubtly, like that clan, you have hidden depths yet to be revealed,"

Don't mention the eye patch and pirates, just don't Grace.

Grace smiles in conclusion.

Valentina has been working through the options for both of them. She immediately discounts Gangrel, Malkavian and Nosferatu as possiblities.

Tremere? Well, she liked Tremere. Well, some Tremere, well ok, one Tremere. Probably not wise to suggest it to them though. As a rule Tremere didn't tend to imply compliment.

Which left her with Brujah, Ventrue and Toreador. She immediately discounts Toreador. She liked them both, but no Toreador would have waited as long as Grace to update her wardrobe, or be so afraid of colour as Aldrich seemed to be. So... they were their own clans them as swapping them didn't strike her as right.

Grace labelling her a Malkavian sends a flash of fear over her aura, though she keeps her face placid and amused.

"I was once told it is better to appear stupid by saying nothing than by opening your mouth and proving it." She smiles lightly.

"As for the pair of you, I must be lacking in imagination for I have wracked my brains and there is no other place you fit than in clans Ventrue and Brujah! So I must congratulate your sires on their excellent taste and beg myself excused from giving more of an answer than that.

Aldrich laughs at Valentina's answer

"Well I suppose that is the correct answer. You may well have more wisdom than both of us." He continues laughing, wiping his eye as if to stave off tears

"And Lasombra, of all clans to choose. But the other side of the coin to clan Ventrue." He speaks through laughter. "And truly nothing to do with tales of piracy and eyepatches?"

He points to his covered eye.

"Superb." He finishes. Taking a deep breath to stave off the laughter.

"I am so glad you found that funny and not insulting Elder,"

That was lucky, may be now and the lack of upset so far was a good point to leave this brief interlude of pretending to be civilised.
"My dears, I am concerned about the hour. I have only a brief break from waiting for Neonate Marcheaux to wake and this break was also to fetch some things from my haven and renew 'fresh supplies,' which should be available on his return to us,"

"I think I should leave you soon,"

She pauses in her stitching and eyes it critically. It is half sewn, but the thicker end is the stitched one. That said, not even she can produce total miracles.

"Perhaps forty-five minutes to an hour Elder." She says after a moments thought.

"If you do not care to wait, I can have it delivered to you tomorrow night?"
