Don't be taken into doing anything on behalf of friendship, mutual trust, or favors. Always ask for boons as payment. I mean always. If they refuse or try to undersell your role do not engage with them in the future, because by seeking to manipulate the boon system they show they have no care for the Camarilla or its values and therefore cannot be trusted."

"As for Cherub. Her personality is... lively, but largly irrelivent to your task. She will do what you say because i will command it off her. Also, i think she is lonely and could do with some companionship that isn't Lenore."

"ofcourse, Boons are very important" June looks confused for a moment as she regains her bearings "tho my exsperiance with them is little. Do you think there are people who are trying to use me?" Worrie crosses her face for a second before perking up

"I have met Lenore before, i had a very plesent convosation with her" June starts to beam with happyness "Your clan as been very plesent towards me, and especially yourself"

“Neonate. Everyone in this court is either trying to use you or trying to work out if your worth investing time in trying to use. If, your sire had not taught that to you by now, I wonder where else your education is lacking.”

“This is precisely why boons are important! Prestation held and owed reveals your values. They are also protection and an assurance that if you disappeared, someone would investigate your disappearance – if only to figure out who to transfer boons too.” In a perfect world, they would in any case, Yorick carefully did not add.

“But I would not worry. I am not aware of anyone in particular who wishes you or your new-found clan mates direct harm.”

June swallows "everyone?" June said retoricaly and goes silent for a short while, so far she felt most of her interactions went nicly "I suppose i could be lacking knowladge in a lot of places. I do want to ask, where would my boons go if i were to meet my final death?"

“Father Wattenberg?” An emaciated adolescent appears at the door. He is dressed in white choir boy robes, his skin appearing almost the same mottled color of his robes, as though he doesn’t quite get enough sunlight. There are also bags under his eyes as though he doesn’t get quite enough sleep either. Without looking up Yorick gestures at June and the boy dutifully makes his way to June, kneeling beside the armrest of her chair and offering her an arm.

“No trouble. If you were to die the prestation you owed to another would be transferred to your killer. It is for this reason sometimes prudent to owe one or more major or blood boons to a single individual as insurance. A good person to owe prestation too would be a sheriff or scourge, someone with the power and ability to investigate your hypothetical death. That is of cause if you worried that your life may somehow be at risk – owning prestation for prestation’s sake is counterproductive as it devalues any future boons you may offer.”

“The only exception is when a prince issues a blood hunt. In that case, slaying the blood hunted individual does not transfer to the killer. However, in practice blood hunts rarely work that way. More often than not a blood hunt is a polite way for a prince to tell another member of their court to get out of their domain - well, if you're an elder at any rate. June listened intently at the information on boons, only glancing over at the boy for a second, formulating more questions to get more information in her mind. Only to stop as a pale wrist moved infront of her, her drink had arrived, it was time to push the beast to the thurthest corners of her mind. If only it had been that simple for her in this moment. with her fang bared out and the bite ready to happen, the dots connected togeather in June's mind. She had never drank from a child before, it was quite easy for her to consider it immoral . Yorick's voice had been drowned out into a distant, but irritaiting hum in her mind. Then her anxiety hit, what was Yorick exspecint her to do? would it be ruse to turn town the drink when it had just been brought to her and after she had just asked for it. What was the child exspecting? would he be relived or would they feel like a falier for being turned down. Her mind raced with thoughts ontop of anxious thoughts ontop of the beast demanding for sustinace and the only words from Yorick able to peirce into her mind was blood, death, Killer. June decided she should not take the drink, the child's blood. it would be just wrong for her to do such a thing. But deciding was not enougth, she would have to take action and unforchantly she allready had without relising. Her fangs were punctured deep into the child's arm and she drank, pulling away only to say towards Yorick "I don't want to be killed"

“What?” Yorick seems genuinely surprised by June’s response and is completely oblivious to the tidal waves of emotion washing over her.

“Neonate don’t be silly, no one wants to die!” Yorick seems almost exasperated by the suggestion. “Well, no one of sanity at any rate. However, as Christians, it is our responsibility to always be prepared for final death. To be called before the almighty at any time and answer for how we used the immortality he in his infinite mercy provided to us for the betterment of kine, kindred and sect. Wouldn’t you agree?”

At this point June was in full panic, she had shot out of her chair, launching it backwards and knocking over the child "i'm so sorry, i did not mean to do that" it may have been unclear that she did not mean knocking everything over, she had yet to realise that is what happend "that was wrong of me" June headed towards the door, tripping on the carnage she had just made, but that was not enougth to stop her. She reached the door, on all fours at this point, reaching up and fumbling with the door handel for a moment of desperation before giving up adn letting herself drop closer to the floor. "I'm so sorry"

Yorick wasn’t paying attention to June. His gaze had turned to Timothy. No longer supported by June the child had collapsed in a heap to the floor. Yorick could see the child reaching for him, in a futile belief that the priest who had lifted him from poverty could even now save him. Impossible. The arm June had fed. No not fed. Butchered was a better descriptive. That Yorick could clearly make out individual arteries, veins and tendons suggested the child had precious little, if any, blood left. The child's movements were likely driven by adrenalin rather than any realistic chance of survival, short of being embraced that is. Even as Yorick watched in expressionless silence the child’s already pale face went paperwhite, his lips now indistinguishable from the rest of him.

Without saying a word Yorick got up to walk slowly towards Timothy. By now all strength had left the child so Yorick simply knelt. In a well-practiced motion, he made the sign of the cross over the dying child and muttered a wordless prayer in Latin comending his soul to God and the archangles.

Standing, Yorick turns to address June. “That child was sinless. Of pure heart and pure intention. You killed him. You imbibed all his goodness, all his charity. His love for his mother, his love for his friends, all that could and never will be for the potential you diened him!”

June crawled across the floor, tears of vitae rolling over her face, joining with the rest that allready soaked her face and leaving a trail of drops to the newly deceased till they started to stain the child's clothing. She pushed herself up to her kneese, her arms nearing bucking under the emotonal weight. Never takeing her eyes off the child, she brushed her hands over his matted and thining hair muttering to herself "what have i done, How did this happen". June leaned down, pressing her foread against his, trying to form a conection with the child, hoping that this was not the fate the child should suffer. She lifted heself up, bringing the child's head to her chest as she cradled him "Father, forgive me for i have sinned" she clutched a crusifix tightly in her hand as it wraped around the child.
