An unexpected guest

For those Southern Haunts that either remain unspecified or too specific to fit into any other category. For example, if you wish to post a one-shot on your character's activities in their Haven but don't wish to advertise the fact of it's existence in a specific district. There are abandoned warehouses, looming ruins, closed shops and empty, filthy gardens...

Recognising that he was unlikely to get any better response from his childe Yorick mentally shrugs, hoping Lady Grace didnt notice or more likely, politely ignores the insult not so subtily berried behind those fluffy platatudes.

"Lady Grace, a question i meant to ask. Earlier in the evening, you mentioned to strove to took your seat on the primogen council at least in part so ancilla Laurence Stoker couldn't. I have only recently met Mr Stoker and am still forming an opinion on him. My initial impression is that he seems unusually preoccupied with social etiquette." - Yorick politely didn't end that statement 'for one of the rabble'.

"He went so far to verbally rebuke Miss Tolpuddle in public for addressing Ancilla Audley by her first name. What is your estimation of this newcomer to our domain and why did you believe he would have been relatively unsuited to the role of pirmogen? I am still deciding whether to consider him as someone my clan can trust".

"Ancilla Stoker, is unusual. Those eyes. I like him and now I trust him as we have spoken more since Court.
He has formal manners which are pleasing to see.

At our first meeting though he spoke of his recent return from the America's where he has fought for several decades.
His second sentence was to compare number of years in the Ivory Tower service and he then gave tribute to the dead mentioning, well things you don't mention to the whole Court. Unless you must.

I found him quite impetuous and headstrong. He didn't seem to have the political experience that I could offer.
Now I know he does not but I admire him. He is loyal and has survived that foriegn wilderness with considerable injury to himself."

She turns her attention to address Cherub,
"Yes child. God is good and to be found in all things, if you take the time to look for him"
"We all serve his glorious plan even though we are dammed,"

"This best thing we can do in the time given is to use these unique gifts for his glory and to bring as many souls as we can into his light and service. This earth was made a common treasury for us to share as equals In his eyes,"
"There now, apology accepted"

Cherub looked very much like somebody who refused to be lectured to on God by more than one person. Wisely, she says nothing, her deadpan stare losing what little emotion it had left, empty behind the slit of her habit.

Seeing the reaction in Cherub. Grace turns to Yorick.
"I really should be going. I will take your message to Miss Tulpuddle and with your permission of course. I might call here to pray when I feel the need for contemplation?"

"Thank you for your time"
She steps away and gently curtseys
"Elder"

And Grace turns and walks out glancing left and right in the doorway as she restores the hood and disappears into the night.
