With all the noise and activity in the bar, another act of minor violence and a tankard hitting the floor doesn't seem to have been noticed.
“You are just the last in a long line of…” he takes a moment obviously working out the best word to use. “...children…to sit where you do. A little deference and respect for your elders and their property goes a long way.”
Tallow leans forward, resting his elbows on the table, the unimpressed tone still present as he continues.
“A lot of things happen in here that do not get noticed. I would not worry about me doing things to cause notice. Worry about what you do or say that result in things that cause notice.”
He leans back again.
“Tell Roger when you see him next that a bottle of good stuff is owed.”
