Aurelia laughs good-naturedly, but it's even huskier than usual (she won't explain why!).

"Yes, I find it considerably useful myself, given my... career choice."

"So, who is attending this salon in Reading?"

Valentina has also winced at Hermina's outburst and her aura skitters in discomfort. Instead, she concentrates on Keane, smiling as he reattaches his bead.

"I am Elder Aurelia. I'm to provide some decorations for the night." She smiles at Aurelia, looking forward to the night.

"Good, I am glad to know people then. I will have to attend - Mithras has bid it - I think my dear Nephew here too, and also Falco. We have to help open with some ceremony or other. I will find out the details."

"It is odd, I cannot remember the last time any Methuselah would willingly share an artifact of this quality. But riddles like this tend to attract vultures... and bigger predators. Perhaps that is their intent."

[Laurence]

Laurence looks after Hermina, his expression hard and amythyst eyes cold, his aura flashes just for a moment with displeasure but settles back down after a moment.

"I too will be attending the Salon, Elder Aurelia."

Glancing around to double check he has all the clothing and shoes he left behind in the night, Laurence settles himself down into the same chair he used the night before. A smile has returned to his face and he appears interested in the conversation.

Keane is still fiddling with the bead in his hair. It takes quite some time to put it in, it's a wonder it was able to detach itself.
"I will be in attendance, I am also happy to travel with others. Especially as I imagine we will have to use one of those Trams to get there."
He looks grumpy (or a little pouty)
"This artifact is also most intriguing, I don't know that I would consider myself a vulture though."

Jean-Jacques quietly renters the library, clothing now smoothed down and takes the seat next to his book.

"I'm not sure who else from Bristol will be in attendance, but I am sure I will not travel alone." She smiles at Dukes.

"Are we now discussing the Lupercalia artefact? It does sound intriguing."

[Madam Zaragoza]

Hermina will appear at the door of the library. She looks weary and a little shaken.
“Dukes, where is Mackinnon? I need his help with... something ..”

"McKinnon is having a rest day, Miss Herridge is due in in an hour to make deliveries and tend the laundry. Will her help suffice?"
