“Jean...I mean Neonate Marchaux, stop hovering, go get your book and sit down.”

She drinks some more. It looks like thoughts are racing through her head.

To Aurelia , “Oh my night? Last night? It was a pure dream, then this evening I discover it was actually reality. I am adjusting.”

Laurence moves about the room carefully, retrieving clothing that had scattered from him when giving the striptease the night before. He has a smile on his face at the conversations taking place around him and after catching a glimpse of Aurelia changing, seems unfazed.

“Well, that’s most of them...”

Getting down on his knees, Laurence reaches underneath and pulls out one of his shoes.

“Riding boots are most uncomfortable to walk in.”

Keane blanches at Dukes suggestion. "Oh no. It could still be around here somewhere. It doesn't mean he... assimilated it."
He enters and nods to the others in a passing sense.

He seems completely uninterested in any nudity or clothes changing occurring. Instead dropping to his knees and sharpening his senses as much as he is able in search of the tiny object.

jean-Jacques, hesitates briefly in the middle of the room, caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place he walks to where his book was, retrieves it and returns to a seat, still considering how to manage to leave the room past the array of elders between him and his freedom.

“Perhaps ee shall look for ze avocado later...”

Valentina's eye widen in appreciative admiration at Aurelia's words. She mouths back "seven?!"

She gives Dukes an impressed glance, smiling at him as she neatly folds the sheet and puts it to one side, before joining the search for Keane's bead.

Aldrich noticed Aurelia and Valentina share a moment and smiles to himself.

He takes a cursory look around from his seated position, unable to spot a bead, whilst scanning the room his eye comes to rest on Jean-Jacques but he quickly moves on. Eventually looking up to the ceiling.

Scrabbling round on the floor he thinks he spies the possibility of a lump under a blood soaked page caked onto the floor. Keane looks up when Aurelia mentions him and then away mouthing the word 'fuck'.
He stands up, intent on investigating the moist yet crusty parchment shortly.
"I shall have to speak with him about it. Though I can see the appeal of such a thing I imagine it is better kept as a rarity. For special occasions. I trust he did not cause any offence or incident on the occasion."
He steps sideways to where his gory prize sits awaiting his probing.

"No, he just liked talking a great deal," Aurelia says lightly, flicking some imaginary lint off her shoulder. She finished with adjusting the nondescreipt black tunic.

"Elder, what are you doing?"

"It's... it might be better if you let us bring the lost item to you Keane... there are cleansing rites we can make to remove the.... taint."
Niketas comes very close to smiling at that remark, very close.
"Well this is happening, if I have to bear with you all again then I'm drinking."
He gets up, retrieves his brandy bottle from the counter and, returning to his seat, detours over to the box of candles and snatches one up. Sitting down he sets it on Aurelia's lap, a black wax rose.
"That was your one. I know, candle is a stupid gift, but it's the... tradition."
