Listening to those around her, Hermina’s mind slowly crawls it’s way out of it’s sleepy state. The importance of this situation and the effect it could have on her and Jean making her thoughts sharper and more focused. She quickly realises that no one here is going to wake him any time soon. In normal circumstances a Neonate would be easy but not this one .... not this bloody foolish to one. You idiot Jean! Anger rises in her as she struggles to work out how to convey to Dukes the difficulty of the position Jean has put himself in without sharing Jean’s secrets.

Hermina hands Aurelia back her hip flask. “Thank you Elder.”

She turns to June, “Right this party is over darling, but my body does not quite understand that yet. Do you think you could help me get back to Dukes’ abode?” She smiles at her, any anger no longer apparent.
