Valentina has been listening quietly, but interestedly to Keane talk. She thrilled to the french poets fictions when he described them, recognizing them as fiction, but enjoying them nonetheless.
However, when his tales turn to Merlin, her creation of Arthur and Hengist's destruction her look and indeed her aura turn thoghtful and at one point faintly puzzled. She wished she had her notes with her as Keane's tales do not tally up with them and yet, in parts are near to what she'd neen taught by others. Still, she's thoroughly enjoying hearing him speak and her aura is sparkling with pleasure as she listens.
When Hermina flares up at Jean-Jacques, Valentina's aura is, possibly for the first time ever, in sympathy with Hermina. Having someone go through your things was unthinkable and a neonate to lie about having fulfilled his task!
But when Keane glances at her she smiles gratefully at him and murmurs "Thankyou Elder, for the tales and your kindnesses earlier. I appreciate them both."
She pauses and then greatly daring says to him 'Your tale of Arthur and Hengist, I have heard a slightly different one. Perhaps at some later date, when My Lady bids me busy myself, we could meet and discuss the differences?" She's still speaking softly, not wanting to disturb the room in Hermina and Jean-Jacques wake.
Only proper in public darling...
