Valentina for her part gives Keane a grateful smile and then it's Aldrich's turn to get the pleading look, though she says nothing it's clear she's hoping he'll allow Keane along.

When he refuses Keane, she closes her eyes briefly, then opens them again, steeling herself for the inevitable when they get outside and prepares to follow him meekly.

Keane opens his mouth and closes it again. His aura flares with irritation. Why can people not see when he's trying to help them.
"As you prefer Architect. Should you change your mind I will come assist for a minor boon."
He then sits back down, looking concerned after Valentina.
He turns to the others.
"If you don't mind a brief pause, in case Elder Beaufort changes his mind."

Aldrich smiles "of course" He leaves the room after Valentina

Less than a minute passes before Valentina reappears in the room, she gives them all a quick, polite smiles, that doesn't reach her eyes and moves swiftly to sit next to Keane, if he looks like he'll let her.

Keane stands when Valentina enters.
"Are you okay?" he asks a little too quickly, without waiting for a responce he sits on one of the sofas making sure there is room for her. Paying close attention to her Aura.
"Right, now, where we?"
He calms his aura as he looks around.

Aldrich returns as calm as normal, he walks back to his chair and takes his seat, pondering for a moment before addressing the group

"Please forgive the interruption."

He returns to being lost in thought.
