The auras flare and die before him, reading them is like a game in and of itself. Unsurprisingly the desire of most of his fellow warlocks prove eager to meet the challenge, but sadly they already seem to be deep in their cups. Analysis done he nods, "I appreciate your candour, thank you for showing yourselves willing or not. It would seem a little unfair to take up my regular drinking partner on his offer, but than you Durham." He nods to the neonate, "Instead, it seems only fitting to turn the dare back upon he who made it, for to make such a dare is in and of itself a challenge. Elder Aldrict, I would be most honoured to test my ... experience in such matters against one of such a prestigious line and titles - such a delightful contrast to my own disreputable line and reputation. Like angel and demon we shall see who falls first."
He calls out for vitae to be brought and allows Aldrict a moment to sort out his own arrangements before turning back to the rest of the group his arm sweeping slowly across them. "Don't think this lets any of the rest of you off by the by, you are all willing guests at this event and therefore I formally leave a standing challenge to each and every one of you to be taken up at any future party where the two of us may find ourselves in appropriate circumstances."
"Oh, yes I'm supposed to pick someone else for something am I not? This may take a few minutes to resolve but in the meantime I'll pick... Durham, as you seemed so willing to meet the challenge it seems unfair to leave you unrequited." Rushing up to the books left out to be taken as gifts he picks one out of the stack at random, "Dukes, I'll take this one." Making his way back to the drinking table he drops the book in Durham's lap as he passes, much as Durham had done to Hermina earlier, "Neonate, I dare you to do the filthiest thing you can possibly think of with this book. The only stipulation being that should the act in question offend present company, I will do the same thing to you later."
