The Fifth Council of Neonates

For those Northern Haunts that either remain unspecified or too specific to fit into any other category. For example, if you wish to post a one-shot on your character's activities in their Haven but don't wish to advertise the fact of it's existence in a specific district.

Violet gets ready to enter at Kira’s shout to her, unwilling to make a move before that, finding the open door slightly suspicious, but then pauses hearing a familiar singing, she waits a second longer for the voices owner to catch up with it “good evening Miss Daye, I am well and yourself?”.

Once in the room she smiles at everyone “I’m glad to see I’m not the first to arrive”. She walks over to join Kira on the sofa, her eyes quickly drawn towards the book, “what are you reading?”.

Taylor limps up to the door, his obfuscate hiding his true form. Knocking twice and then waiting a moment he enters, the veil dropping and the limp disappearing upon seeing only his peers in the room. His eyes are on Ms Daye as he bows his head

Kira opens her mouth as if to ask what is so wrong with being the first to arrive, yet her train of attention goes full speed as she questions the book, "Oh, this it-" her eyes light up, and a lengthy enthusiastic tirade is sure to follow as she carefully flicks through to show a specific passage to help describe it's contents, yet the Doctors arrival cuts that short. "Evening Good Doctor," she rests the book down to grant a formal greeting once again, taking every opportunity to polish up such.

Eric laughs, again, it's starting to replace the breathing a mortal would do between sentences. "A door stops fools I do no care to deal with. Though I don't think an open door would just let dinne..." the thought trails off. The trail is not very useful. It involves dinner wandering through the house and how the addition of money, food, and skulls would effect the rate of dinner, now an official term.

The trail was finally broken by Taylor, "Naye." Eric had drawn in a big breath for his booming voice but on remembering who it was answer Taylor in a voice much quieter than one would expect, as if to conpensate for the loudness in his mind. "Miss Maryweather is still to appear." Then suddenly everyone else comes into view, "Good evenin' to ye all. I'm great, if anyone asked while I was out. Wait." His eyes open wide again looking over the newcomers.

Kira tilts her head, her bright eyes trying to follow Erics trail of thought, it takes her longer then she cares to admit, clearing her throat she responds to the meat of the conversation, "Yes, that she is. This is past fashionably late yes? I feel I've been out done as a Toreador, for shame," she sighs with a lilting giggle, "Though Mr.Lunaris? Do you have the diagrams I asked about?"

Eric is even more excited than before, "A-ye", comes out disjointed as the volume was swalloed, "I have somethin' better though." He looks to Violet, giving her instructions, "Get the paper and pencils I told ye to bring. Make sure everyone who wants t'learn has one."

Eric himself gets out a chalk board the size of a newspaper and some chalk before finding himself a good vanatage to teach from, mainly Vi and Kira who had asked, but his position is far enough than a semi-circle of all six could join. "I'll guide ye through the main ones and ye can note down how ye feel is best for ya. Questions?"

Kira sits up straighter then before, gently putting the tome of a book back where it belongs, "Yes please, may I have some paper and pencils too Miss Clyntahn?" she asks sweetly, very clearly eager to learn and almost finally somewhat pleased Miss Merryweather is more than a little tardy.

Violet smiles at Eric, her eyes brightening at the sudden appearance of the blackboard. "Ahh so this is what you wanted the paper for". She takes a small bundle from her bag and unties it, taking a couple of pieces of paper for both herself and Kira, she then takes a second to choose two of the best looking pencils for the job and hands one of those to Kira also.

She looks up to see if anyone else is in need of one, but sees Christine and Dr Taylor sitting close together and doesn't want to disturb them. She assumes Dorian will already know whatever it is they're about to be taught and would take offense to being offered the paper so rather than offering it directly she leaves it out and easily accessible should he have need of any

Christine sits calmly on one of the sofas, her hands folded properly in her lap. She favours everyone with a happy smile (though the smile she gives to Taylor is warmer than all the others), blinking for a moment as she processes Dorian's expression.

"I am well, thank you all. It is good to see everyone once more... I am hoping that we might have a successful council this night... but with such honoured and honourable guests, I cannot see how it might be otherwise!"

She giggles and continues:

"Thank you for being our host this time, Mr Black. It is very kind of you."

She tilts her head in interest as Eric produces the blackboard, watching the proceedings, even if her expression suggests that her mind is elsewhere. Her fingers twitch occasionally, rhythmically, as if she were conducting music only she could hear.

Taylor moves to stand behind the sofa Christine is sat on, his hands lightly rest on the back of it. His face turned to the rest of the room but his eyes flicking to Christine every so often.

"Indeed, thank you for hosting Dorian. It makes a change to get out the surgery."

Seeing Eric bring out the blackboard, one corner of his mouth twitches up into a small smile, as if laughing at some private joke.
