Sheriff's manor - Culture Tour After-Party

For those Northern Haunts that either remain unspecified or too specific to fit into any other category. For example, if you wish to post a one-shot on your character's activities in their Haven but don't wish to advertise the fact of it's existence in a specific district.

Valentina had been watching the spat with wide, frightened eyes, and startles a little when Keane appears in her view.

Taking stock of his aura her eyes widen in sympathy and she holds out a hand to him. "Elder Keane, I should like that very much." She smiles a little tremuolously. Given that he's blocking her from view she takes a chance to murmur softly "though it would only be a walk Elder. I am not free to give any more, though I might wish it otherwise." She looks down. "Should you wish to change your mind, I will not hold it against you." Her aura is sad and pulled in as she says this. She's discovered she wants him as a friend if nothing else and the idea of hurting him does not sit well with her.

Then Jerome drunkenly accosts her from the sofa and she rolls her eyes in amusement. "Elder Price, I believe you to be so drunk that walking is likely beyond you."

The fight unravelling, wrapping up and embracing next to them becomes forgotten. Keanes aura softens and then sparkles just a little bit with happiness.
"I understand, dear lady. Perhaps then, as the Keeper has so modestly suggested, you might require an escort to your shop?"
He offers a hand and assuming she accepts, leads her from the house. Arm in arm they make sweet company as he returns her to her abode, if a little groggily. He wishes her a fine evening and, when she turns to look back from her door, he is lost in the mists of the street.

The crowd slowly pairs off amd diminishes.

"Elder Price, would you care for an escort to your residence? I am more than capable of carrying you should the nights fun have left it difficult for you to walk."

At Valentina's rebuttal and Elder Keane's offer Jerome nods, "As a member of the hoshting clan, jusht trying to do the gentlemanly thing - wouldn't want your Prinsh to think we're lacking in manners. But you're right, conshidering my state I warrant Elder Keane's offer is wiser and safer this eve." With this he surprisingly does manage to stand and turn smartly to salute Elder Keane. "Good Evening."

At Blint's offer, he smiles "Thank you good sir for tha' offer, but ai'll be staying here if no lady needs an escort an keep Durham company till he's ready fer bed." he leans conspiratorially towards him with a hand up to one side of his mouth, "Ai screwed hish leg a bit, so seems only right ta help him out." he wink and then offers the hand to be shook.

He accepts the hand, giving it a firm but not forceful shake. Then gives a bow before letting it go.

"Till next we meet then Keeper, may the nights keep you safe."

And with that said, he makes his way towards the exit and leaves to the South.

Looking around at the room, Laurence grins

“Thank you kindly for hosting a magnificent party Sheriff.”

He turns and leaves, walking briskly and slightly unsteadily towards the south of the city.

As all the rest of the guests leave, Jerome plops himself down next to Durham. Letting his senses drift out to make sure that nobody has lingered and that those others remaining are in the throes of their own amusements.

"Young Durham, on the matter of the slippers we are indeed even." He slaps the wound on Durham's leg firmly as if to accentuate the payment which had been elicited. However, notably the aim of his hand is sure and the slurring of his words is gone, it would seem Jerome is clearly not quite as badly affected by his cups as he might have appeared a minute ago.

For a moment Jerome simply looks out upon the room, reflecting on the interesting chaos the evening had brought. "So, just the two of us left... did I hear you were in the middle of dinner before we all so abruptly turned up? Perhaps I might join you for some late night entertainments of our own?" As he presses a finger into the wound of Durham's leg suggestively and gives him a wink it is clear he's not thinking of anything particularly savoury.
