An Open Invite

[Laurence]

Laurence's head perks up a little at a mention of an acrobatics game.

"It sounds fascinating Elder Aurelia, how does one play?"

He gives a nod to Angelina when she enters, before turning his gaze back to Aurelia.

[Lady Grace]

Grace takes a moment to process what she just heard.
She looks at Laurence, he could do very well.

Then glances around the assembly. Amongst this company it could be interesting.
"Elder Aurelia, I don't think I have ever heard of such a game.
Please," Grace smiles at Laurence,"the rules?"

[Anton]

[Valentina Audley]

Valentina nods to Angelina and smiles politely, making a mental note to ask Reggie to keep the girl away from Jean-Jacques, lest his disastrous manners spill over to affect her and thus the Toreador.

Valentina's interest had perked at the mention of a new game, but the moment bodily contact is mentioned, she folds back in on herself, disappointed. But with Uriah in the building she doesn't dare anything that would give him cause to think less of her. Drat the man, she thinks irritably.

Anton's answer about dying happy makes her giggle. "You enjoy the scholarly persuits then Neonate?"

She smiles brightly at Keane and Anton. "I think then, it is my turn to ask a question? Hrm..." She pauses and pretends to ponder for a moment.

"If you could travel, to anywhere, with no obstacles to impede you, where would you go?" I should like to visit Italy, I think. All I have read about it paint it as a beautiful and romantic place!"

[Posh-Tim]

Keane nods along to Antons answer. Then smiles at Valentina's new question.
"I went to Greece, briefly. It was some time after what I think you are referring to though."
He looks a little pensive for a moment but then thinks of an answer for Valentina.
"I think if I were to pick anywhere it would be Annwvyn. I should imagine that any would be happy to see it. Though I imagine time will tell."
He looks a little vacant but then realises he should probably explain himself.
"Oh of course Annwvyn is the land besides, below and far away in what is now Wales. Ruled by King Arawn. A benevolent land of plenty and other. It is rather ancient but I do so hope to see it one day."

[Anton]

Anton decides now is not the time to tell his elder that his dream destination is made up.

Angelina smiled at the two others who smiled at her, and dipped her head to the elder who had spoken to her.
"Thank you, I wasn't quite expecting to walk into such a gathering this evening. I hope I am not intruding." She said in a soft, polite tone.

The suggestion of an acrobatic game took her interest, not that she would be able to participate of course, but because it would be fascinating to observe from the sidelines.

[Jean-Jacques]

Jean-Jacques smiles towards Angelina then glances at Aurelia, his face impassive,

"A poor attepmt at recompense for my error earlier, I should offer to clear some space for this athletic game"

He steps forward and starts to move furniture to the sides away from either of the two gathered groups

[Valentina Audley]

Keane's country of choice intrigues her and she smiles to him.

"Please Elder, I have heard heard of Annwvyn. Won't you tell us more about it? What you have said already sounds so delightful!" She asks gently, giving him a pleading look.

[Lucius Servius]

“An athletic game would be suitable Mr Stoker. A test of real skill, and not this half-baked excuse for a game they call 21!” Lucius stands, his aura burned with residual anger at being the first to lose at stupid card game, although true to her word, his clanmate's tea had ameliorated the worst of it.

“I propose a game, in the manner of the arch-traitor Odysseus of Troy.” At the mention of Troy Lucius winks at Angelina, openly acknowledging her presence for the first time. “We shall shoot a single arrow at a target through 12 ax heads. Although as we live in barbaric times axheads can be substituted for something else equally challenging. Thoughts kindred, I'm open to suggestions?”
