Meredith's face drops when she listens to Jean Jacque, "Oh come now, that cannot possibly be true. For the first instance you were chosen to become Kindred and that means you are special. Furthermore, I truly believe every person has a talent and has a reason to shine. It doesn't have to be a great warrior or lover. It can merely be finding the perfect outfit, being kind, not being a push-over. You must look deeper inside yourself and give yourself the recognition you deserve."
Smiling once again Meredith continues, "You say you blend into the crowd. Well now, that's got to be a talent. Some people shine so brightly they can never be one with themselves but you have the opposite and that creates an opportunity. To go unnoticed by the eye could lead to a lot of opportunities especially in subterfuge. And you will be all the more noticed when you finally show off the inner star for it!"
Turning to Lady Grace sharply, "Primogen Granville, of course Elders shine the brightest. They have been on this Earth longer, are wise and the gems in our crown. But imagine the pressure they must bare, for they have to lead an example for all of us to follow. And you are Ancilla my dear, that means you at least are the velvet trim to the Crown. And standing up when others do not have the voice to do so, is very worthy indeed. You can call it conflict but I would call it an advocate of justice."
Meredith winks at Lady Grace.
