I'm really enjoying the Council of Neonates meeting. It's nice that they're getting together and giving each other support in a hostile world, poor things.

But why wasn't Caiaphas' perfect childe Jedediah not invited? He's so lovely and adorable! You meanies! ^_^

He has this unfortunate condition of "seems to like his Sire" XD If he was from the south we could forgive such a naive stance.... and it would be quite the long walk all the down to us in the south. Wouldn't want to tire his upper-class legs.

Why would you ever not like your sire? Also, he'd come by horsey, thus sparing his poor little legs.

And he wouldn't be able to leave by the same horse. It would have disappeared quite quickly!

Indeed; an acquaintance lent me the use of his horse only the other day for business I had South of the river. I was gone for but ten minutes - and gave a young ragamuffin a penny to watch it, with the promise of another on my return. When I came back the poor beast was up on bricks!

Awwww. Don't egg the poor little things on. Clearly they're just afraid and crying out for someone older and wiser to take care of them and give them direction in (un)life. ^_^

But if they don't kick each other heads in now how will they ever properly develop long standing and bitter rivalries hidden behind a thin veneer of civility and fake smiles?

That's true! By the time they become Elders they'll have been expected to grow out of mindless violence. Might as well enjoy their freedoms while they're still young, and better in some hidden rat-hole than in Elysium.

But hopefully they'll find themselves some sugar-daddies before they get too badly hurt.
