Angelina was taken aback, and glanced at the others, who luckily seemed to be dealing with their own little situation and weren't paying too much attention to what was being said. Her mouth opened to protest his insults of Verity, but she was caught off guard by his comments about the secret. She floundered, stunned.
"You agreed.... you agreed at Reading that if I answered honestly, it would not be discussed publicly...." She said quietly, trying to keep from drawing the attention of the the others. She knew she was naive. She was aware that she didn't know enough about this world, but she had thought that the quick agreement that night actually stood, foolish.
She was embarrassed and shifted, looking over to Christine at her suggestion, and she nodded. "That would be enjoyable." She agreed, and tried to give Christine a smile. "Somewhere comfortable sounds lovely."
