Be it The Theatre Royal, The Ceryneian Theatre, or any of the smaller establishments serving to entertain the good people of Bath, here lies the feeling of sanctuary - of focus - and a tremble in the ether as the curtains rise, the music begins. Women touch themselves up - cosmetically - and their features glow and gleam: mouths like scimitars in claret, plum, sienna, smokily shadowed eyes with diamond hints and sapphire glints. Candle flames paint flickering reflections across the crystal chandeliers. Inside a Theatre is something pure, something beyond the Beast, immortalised in story and dance, the hard-won result of all the satirically polite personas, the rehearsals, the strict agents, the money and fame, the spotlights, the sweat, the pain and the blisters, the heartache and a final real catch-of-breath victory. Here is the playground of the performers.

Angelina's eyes snapped over to the Prince as they emerged from the shadows and her eyes widened slightly, standing immediately from where she had been sat. She quickly dropped into a deep curtsey and lowered her head. "Good evening Prince Leroux." She said politely, straightening out but not sitting again, waiting instead for the prince to sit first.

The Prince smiles for a moment, acknowledging all, some more than others. For Elder Lucius, it's a smile and a bow returned, Christine a kiss in response, Jean-Jacques, she nods her head slightly on seeing his expression of sudden horror at her appearance. It is all fine neonate, she thinks. These walls are contained. Then remembers how swiftly others have forgotten to hold their tongues, and her expression resets.
"Thank you kindly." She murmurs this to Rhona as she sits down, and settles, gesturing for others to do the same. "Perhaps..." she looks pensive for a moment. "Perhaps another angle on this question? Who do you feel you know the most in the court of this fair city? And who would you like to know better?"
She is the sunlight of my sunless nights.

"... best and better..." Christine murmurs, before grinning at Erika. "...only one possible answer, and one and the same... trust I seek and I find in you... everyday for us something new... open mind for a different view... and nothing else matters..."

Jean-Jacques exterior doesn’t relax, albeit wearing a polite smile, having watched the others greet the prince and Rhona move the seating with some aplomb...
“Your highness, alas given the time I am spending in their company over recent times, I know Ancilla Granville the most.”
He pauses, a brief glance toward Lucius
There are many We should consider knowing more of, not least you Lorcan eh?...but you aren’t in this court are you...
“On the matter of knowing one further, I should say your highness is my choice, how better to further service in your court than to know your wishes more directly”
Not out loud Lorcan
He pauses
“However, that would not be fitting of my circumstances therefore I would choose Neonate James Munroe”

Lucius lounges in a nearby chair.
"I am curious Prince Leroux, I was unaware you were related to the royal line, which house may I ask? Or is affixing the title of 'your grace' a new courtesy in this domain I was unfamiliar with?" Lucius looks momentarily confused. "I should of cause not wish to think so ill of neonates Jean-Jacque and Rhona that they would misappropriate social titles in the hope of currying favor!?"
"Prince Leroux, please don't think it has escaped my notice how you have effortlessly denied us an answer to my original question. Well, to answer yours I would say I know Elder Falco of my clan. Blood calls to blood, that is truer when you can trace your mortal line back to the foundation of Rome. A more correct Ventrue cannot be found and he is a good friend. As for whom i would like to know better, yourself Prince Leroux."

Once again, Rhona felt her skin crawl like hackles rising down her neck and it was all she could do to stop herself from grinding her teeth. If this Venture was much drier, he'd catch light in the presence of a candle. Maybe she had made a mistake in coming here, nothing quite like an elder of his sort to make a perfectly pleasant evening truly dull.
Still, the gangrel was perhaps surprisingly not completely stupid when it came to etiquette and decorum, and knew it was unwise to interject boisterously at this point.
"My apologies, I merely chose an honourific to exemplify qualities our Prince posseses in abundance. If you think it is not fitting, Elder Servius, I shall correct my use of language in future." Rhona said, injecting all the charm she possessed into her smile.
The conversation had been directed to the prince, and so it was for the prince to lead it onwards.
Now she was sat back down, Rhona instead shuffled back into the comfortable couch, stretching out her legs and finding the most comfy position she could. If this evening was going to be dull, at least she would experience it in maximum comfort. She didn't have furniture anyway near as indulgent at this at her own haven after all.
